Paulson’s Great Pumpkin Classic Car Show 2015

CONTACT Paul McClorey Paulson’s Construction, Inc. 517-545-8651 PaulsonsConstruction.com FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 2015 Great Pumpkin Classic Car Show Raises Funds for the Livingston County Salvation Army   Thanks to everyone who helped to make the 8th annual Great Pumpkin Classic Car Show our most successful show yet! The support of our great sponsors, lots of volunteers and of course all of the wonderful owners who brought out their beautiful classic vehicles made this show a huge success.   The show, held on Saturday, October 10th, was located the Livingston County Spencer J. Hardy Airport. Car owners from all over brought their classic vehicles to the show. There were over 350 cars in attendance and 294 registered vehicles were judged by their peers in 20 classes, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners were awarded trophies. Official judges selected award winners for five special trophies including best of show and a veteran’s award. The first 250 entrants received goody bags which included this year’s dash plaque. All registrants were eligible for the wonderful door prizes donated by our sponsors. Great food was enjoyed thanks to Boy Scout Troop 364 of Howell, Tony’s Dogs of Howell, and YoFresh Yogurt Café of Brighton. Children were entertained by the red bucket bounce house provided by the Salvation Army and great music was provided by DJ Paul Peters.   Through the generosity of our entrants and sponsors who contributed both monetary funds and in kind donations, we raised just over $20,000 for the Livingston County...

2015 Remodeling Show & Deck Expo.

On October 1st and 2nd, four of our staff members took a road trip to Chicago to attend the 2015 Remodeling Show and Deck Expo. The two day event provided them with a vibrant exhibit hall with hundreds of the industry’s top manufacturers, hands-on training and business education.  Paul and Alison focused on searching out new and innovative products to offer to Paulson’s clients. Paulson’s 1st & 2nd Quarter Awards & Summer Cookout

The annual Paulson’s subcontractor and vendor cookout was held on Thursday, August 20th this year. The event was well attended as many Paulson’s associates came together to relax and have some fun. This was also a chance for everyone to meet our new field superintendent, Craig, who came aboard this summer. Employee awards were announced as well. The award for Employee of the 1st Quarter went to Tim Suchodolski. Tim is our salesperson and has been with Paulson’s since 2012. He continues to create great rapport with our Paulson’s clients and his sales reflect that he has done so. Thanks, Tim! The Paulson’s Employee of the 2nd Quarter was awarded to Alison. She has been with Paulson’s since its founding in 1996 and is our office manager. Paulson’s Announces Annual Awards

Though we have many valued subcontractors and vendors, each year at Paulson’s, we like to acknowledge one associate that stands out in many ways. This year, at our annual Christmas celebration, Ed, our plumber, was recognized as the 2014 Paulson’s Subcontractor of the Year. Ed has been working with Paulson’s for many years now and we truly appreciate the professional attitude, knowledge and expertise that he brings to each project. Congratulations and thank you, Ed! During our celebration, we also announced several employee awards. While the key to fulfilling our company moto of “Satisfying customers by doing what we say we’re going to do when we say we’re going to do it” is definitely team work, we like to recognize those individuals who go above and beyond in customer service and fulfilling their job duties. Our lead carpenter, Cy, was awarded with the Employee of the third quarter of 2014. He is definitely dedicated to making sure that each job is completed to our company standards – he takes the time to make sure your job is done just right. The award for Employee of the fourth quarter of 2014 went to Maureen Theodore, our show room coordinator. Maureen has been with Paulson’s for over 5 years now and continually provides our clients with excellent service. At our annual summer cookout, first and second quarter awards were announced. The employee of the first quarter of 2014 was Patti. She is our executive assistant and helps Paul with many tasks. During the first quarter of the year, we were short staffed and many other duties fell on Patti’s shoulders. So many thanks to Patti for picking up the slack!
