This historic home in downtown Howell was in need of new siding. We removed the old siding & installed real wood clapboard siding. Our goal was to give the home an update but still stay period correct with our renovations. The homeowners chose to paint or stain the exterior themselves. Wood has time-tested, timeless quality that does not go out of style. Residing a house with wood shingles or real wood clapboard is not nearly as easy as it was 100 years ago.
